Reformers Unanimous Timothy Fund
We began our schools of discipleship in 2001 with just a single home and a few men. We have since grown to disciple 100 men and 40 women at a time. Reformers Unanimous (RU) continues to be extremely effective at discipling disciplers. We are privileged to maintain an 84% success rate with those who graduate from our schools. Reformers Unanimous graduates currently working in ministry include 40 full-time Christian workers, seven RU Directors, four pastors, and 50 RU addiction counselors.
We thank and praise the Lord for those who graduate our schools of discipleship and allow themselves to be used by the Lord. We pray for those who have the desire to enroll
in one of our schools of discipleship, but lack the financial ability to do so. The following letter is just one of the many requests we receive on a daily basis from individuals:
Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing this letter in the hopes of being considered for a
scholarship to the Reformers Unanimous School of Discipleship.
I am 34 years old and have been an addict for most of my adult
life. My addictive lifestyle has brought nothing but pain and
destruction to my life and to those who care most about me. I have
tried to quit using drugs on my own, went to treatment centers,
and only obtained short periods of sobriety.
When I heard about RU Schools of Discipleship, I had this
overwhelming feeling that it was exactly what I needed. I want to
grow in Christ and learn all that I can about living this victorious
life that I believe God has planned for me.
Though I want more than anything to come to
Rockford and be a part of RU’s Discipleship Schools,
I have no one to sponsor me. Th e few people that are
still supportive of me just plain can’t afford it.
I have been praying that if it be God’s will that I go
to Rockford, that He will make a way. If given a chance
and provided with a scholarship, I would be extremely
grateful.
I believe I need this program. Th e structure, discipline,
and the opportunity to learn how to live for God are the
only way I feel I will truly overcome and find freedom.
Please consider me for a scholarship. Thank you for your
time and consideration.
God Bless,
Susan M. Woods
“As the Undershepherd of
North Love Baptist Church,
It is my honor to oversee the
men and women who come
to Rockford seeking to be
freed from the bondage that
ensnares them. There is no
greater privilege than to watch
as the Lord transforms these
lives, effectively forging some
of the most ardent Christians
in the local church.”

“Nothing pulls at the
heartstrings like having to
close our doors to hurting
people on the basis of
maintaining fi nancial integrity.
With your help, we can see that
we never have to deny a needy
person the help the Lord has
led for them to receive. Each
dollar of benevolence will go
a great distance toward our
goal of making these fi nancial
restrictions a thing of the past.”
